I “graduated” to a normal bathtub!

Yippey! I’m so excited!! I bathed in the REAL bathtub for the first time today!

As usual, Mommy was going to fill up my “baby tub” but I wouldn’t let her. I kept on telling her to put it away. She tried a couple of times (mainly because she can save some water ;P but also because she was afraid for whatever reason, I may lose my posture and go under) but I wouldn’t give in so finally she did and filled up the big tub. I kind of changed my mind after Mommy filled up 1/3 of the tub since it looks kind of intimidating and hesitated in going in but she was determined not to waste water, so she put me in despite my protests. After getting in though, it wasn’t so bad after all! It’s just like the good old times, except now I have much more leg room…it’s actually like having my own miniature pool!

I am starting to run out of things to play with though…already know the alphabets like the back of my hand so the foam letters are not fun anymore. Think Mommy is thinking of getting me bath crayons…;P

I don’t know what I want!

Or maybe I do but I deliberately act like I can’t make up my mind.

Mommy doesn’t know which one is correct - what she does know is that I am EXTREMELY fickle nowadays and am sometimes REALLY living up to the “terrible two” reputation!

Don’t know why either, but it seems like all of a sudden, I know I am two and I should act that way. Give me two choices and I will drive you up the wall by switching back and forth between the two until your head spins. For example, the other night, I wanted Mommy to hold me so she did. As soon as she did, I told her no, no, I want to get down. As soon as she let me down, I changed my mind again and wanted her to pick me back up. I have to say, Mommy is indeed very patient with me - she still obliged. I thought this was very fun and wanted to see how long I could keep this up so I asked her to put me down again - this time, she said “Ok, Owen, let Mommy know when you make up your mind.” and walked away. I think she’s starting to take heed what the nurse informed her: be firm and don’t let me have my way because I am testing her and seeing how far I could go with her. :(
